Can I work and get Carer's Allowance?
Yes, if your earnings stay under the weekly limit and you still care for 35 hours. The check uses £196 a week, which is the published line it was given. Confirm the current limit on GOV.UK before you cut your hours to fit it.
- Earnings are not the same as profit, and some costs can be deducted. The check only compares the number you type with £196.
- The cared-for person must get a qualifying benefit. Ticking “caring” does not prove that.
Indicative only. Not advice. Confirm it on the official page before you rely on it.
