How much is Carer's Allowance?
Carer’s Allowance is £86.45 a week in the 2026/27 figure this catalogue uses. You must be caring for at least 35 hours a week, and the person you care for must already get a qualifying disability benefit. In Scotland the adult payment is Carer Support Payment, not Carer’s Allowance.
- It can overlap with Universal Credit or Pension Credit. The other benefit may fall when this one is paid. Do not treat £86.45 as a net gain.
- Confirm the weekly rate on GOV.UK. A catalogue figure is not the award letter.
