How much is Scottish Child Payment?
It is a payment for each child under 16 in Scotland if you get a qualifying benefit. The 2025/26 rate used in this catalogue was £27.15 a week per child. Confirm the current rate on mygov.scot. It is paid as well as Child Benefit, not instead of it.
- There is no Scottish Child Payment for an address in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.
- A qualifying benefit has to be in payment. Child Benefit on its own is not that benefit.
